Shoal Bay Holiday Park

Camping spot was good. Amazing access to two beaches. Great facilities and camp kitchen. Well managed. Facilities were very clean, well designed, however need to pay attention to beginnings of mould build up. Plus make your way the short walk to Little Beach Boathouse cafe for a vino, reasonable food and some local dolphin watching. Just love this area.

The cabins were usual traditional cabins, clean with standard bathrooms. However the amenities block was outstanding. Very clean and tidy, modern, lots of space, by far best showers I’ve experienced for sure! Would come back solely for that amenities block! Great location right on the beach was so nice to be able to go for a walk along the beach at night and not stress about a journey back to the accomodation.

I have travelled extensively over the last eleven years with caravans and campervans. Australia has an abundance of natural beauty locations, and I have attempted to photograph some of these moments in a natural unadulterated scene. My photos are true to form as captured. Keep in mind, you need to choose the perfect lighting to achieve lovely photos. I am staying on a powered van site in my Campervan. From my observation, all the villas are 5 out of 5 and beautifully presented. Wheelchair ♿️ access is excellent. Parking is excellent for villas and powered van sites. I would like to thank the Port Stephens Council, the management team and all their on-site staff for what is truly a beautiful location. Pride by the on-site staff is outstanding, keep up your enthusiasm. It contributes to a noteworthy and memorable experience. The big clincher for me is the 5+ star rating of your amenities blocks. A lesson for other holiday parks is they could learn a lot from the amenities of this park. Yes, I hear you, why such a thing about the amenities? If you have travelled or are about to go adventuring for the first time then you will appreciate my enthusiasm for this topic as things can vary immensely among holiday parks as you trip around on vacation. The photos will show you how beautiful and well-looked-after they are. Thanks to the staff. The beach is an 8-minute stroll across the road. Please note children will always need to be supervised when crossing this road. This location is busy. The Whale Watching cruise is only 10 minutes away. I am booked Tuesday for another cruise to see these majestic animals. I live locally and yet this is my first vacation at this park. This location is an excellent choice if you are considering staying in the area, be it short-term or long-term. The Port Stephens Council operates other Holiday Parks in Port Stephens as well.
